Why “Sketch”?

A sketch is a draft. It’s a starting point for creating something greater, a tool for verifying that we’re on the right path.

A sketch is a drawing, usually in pencil. It’s a highly adaptable art form – simply erase and start over, or draw over what’s already there.

A sketch is a performance, intensely collaborative in creation. It’s small, and gets right to the point. Creating sketch comedy requires immediate feedback, the willingness to move in an unanticipated direction, and relentless attention to craft.

We sketch software. In order to deliver valuable software quickly, we begin with a series sketches. To discover the best solutions with our customers, we iterate through drafts together. The final production is the result of customer collaboration, imagination, and focus on our craft.
